The purpose of this report is to critically and technically review the stated opposition to exotics in the permanent category of the ETS with an evidence-based lens and provide feedback from a te ao Māori view. Unfortunately, our experience with Government and officials over the last 18-24 months regards forestry has been driven by what appears to be a political agenda to exclude exotics from this category.
