Horopaki | Context
Registration became mandatory for forestry advisers and log traders when the Forests (Regulation of Log Traders and Forestry Advisers) Amendment Act 2020 (Amendment Act) commenced on 6 August 2022. Penalties under the Amendment Act will apply from the 6th of August 2023.
The four elements being consulted on are:

Practice Standards (for Forestry Advisers and Log Traders)
Industry Agreements (for Forestry Advisers and Log Traders)
